My first marathon of the 13 in 13 month challenge.  Got off on the right foot - though running into a head wind the entire 2nd half of the race, my finishing time (as you can see above in the right picture) was 3:10:35, which met (barely) my goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon to be run in April 2007.  Only 177 people finished this race so at times it was very lonely, as the left picture shows when I was the only runner for about a 1/4 mile - both in front and behind me!  That was right about mile 21.  Besides the wind, it was a beautiful day for a run.  I'm very glad to have qualified for Boston; the next 11 can be much easier!
